Pad Thai Noodle Reopens After Explosion
Albany County is celebrating the reopening of Pad Thai Noodle, a family-owned business in Colonie.
The restaurant was destroyed in an explosion last year, but has now been rebuilt. A grand reopening ceremony was held on Thursday, attended by Albany County Executive Dan McCoy and David Johnson of Professional Fire Restoration.
The building, located on Everett Road, had to be demolished after a gas explosion and fire in April 2024. The family first opened the restaurant in 2016.
