A group of note is the Friends of Mendon Public Library, who are preparing to celebrate National Friends of the Libraries Week, recognized from October 19-25.
The Friends of Mendon Public Library provide constant support to the Mendon Public Library, offering:

- Arts and crafts activities
- Care for the library's fish, Clementine
