Climate Change Concerns Among Doctors
New data from the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) reveals that 75.1% of doctors are concerned about the impact of climate change on their patients' health.
A survey of RCP fellows and members found that only 16% of responding doctors felt their workplace was prepared for extreme weather events, such as heatwaves or flooding.
The NHS is simply not prepared
The Climate Change Committee has warned the government that the UK must prepare for 'unprecedented' extreme weather events due to at least 2C of global warming by 2050.
