New Pirate Ship at Storyland
A new pirate ship is being installed at Storyland, a $700,000 addition privately funded by a local family.
The ship was designed and built by a company in Paso Robles, known for crafting Disney attractions and statues.
Storyland, which promotes reading and traditional Mother Goose stories, is expanding its offerings to include STEM learning experiences with this new exhibit.
The project, four years in the making, began installation on Monday and is expected to be ready by early November.
