Obituary: David Clinton Byers
David Clinton Byers, age 75, passed away in Jonesboro, Ark. He is reunited with his son, Brad, in heaven.
David lived in Hope until moving to Nashville, Ark., after marrying Joy Boyette Byers on June 15, 1969. They were married for 56 years.
Their life together was not idyllic, to say the least.
- They experienced pain and sadness with the accidental death of their son, Bradley Byers in 1983.
- They had another son, David Clinton “Davey” Byers, Jr., who brought them joy and support.
After retiring 12 years ago, David and Joy moved to Phoenix, Albuquerque, and ultimately Jonesboro, three years ago, where they were close to Davey and his wife, Kim.
