Today and Friday, a Colorado low will bring rain and thunderstorms to the valley. A warm front is expected to cause thunderstorms and lightning in the north, along with widespread rain throughout the morning.

A cold front will follow, bringing gusts of over 30 mph from the northwest. Additional light rain showers will affect northeast ND and the northern valley into Friday morning.
Some areas north could see as much as an inch of rain by the time the week ends, which may impact harvest plans.
Temperature ranges will be significant, with warmer temperatures in the south (60s to low 70s) and cooler temperatures in the north (50s and 60s) due to ongoing rain.
