Traction Law in Effect for Little Cottonwood Canyon
A traction law has been issued for Little Cottonwood Canyon due to snowfall on the Wasatch Front. The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) implemented the restrictions on State Road 210.
UDOT announced the restrictions on social media, stating that snow began falling in higher elevations around midnight. The snow is expected to continue through the morning and taper off by the afternoon.

Traction law restrictions are put in place during severe winter driving conditions in Utah's canyons. Approved traction devices are required for all vehicles traveling on SR-210 in Little Cottonwood Canyon.
