Latest Poll Indicates Lead for Galway Presidential Candidate
A recent Ipsos B&A poll for the Irish Times shows Catherine Connolly, the Galway independent candidate, taking a strong lead in the race for the Aras.
According to the poll, Connolly is 18 points ahead of her Fine Gael rival, Heather Humphreys, with just over a week to go before polling day.

- Heather Humphreys: 20%
- Jim Gavin: 5%
- Undecided: 18%
- Won't vote: 12%
- Spoil their vote: 6%
Almost half of voters said they don’t feel represented by any of the candidates.
