Arkansas Women's Golf Tops Oklahoma at Route 66 Invitational
The Arkansas women's golf team won the Route 66 Invitational at Cedar Ridge Country Club in Broken Arrow, Okla., on Tuesday, holding off Oklahoma.
The Razorbacks built a 10-stroke lead after 36 holes, but the Sooners made a comeback in the final round. Arkansas finished at 11-under, while Oklahoma finished at 8-under.
- Arkansas junior Maria Jose Marin finished second with a 10-under score.
- Savannah Baker of Oklahoma won with an 11-under score.
- Tulsa finished third at 17-over.
The Razorbacks and Sooners were the only teams to shoot below par.
