A 34-year-old man from the Hamptons has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for possessing approximately two kilograms of fentanyl.

The fentanyl, with an estimated street value of $80,000, was transported from Suffolk County into Hollis in November 2022, according to Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz.

This sentence follows a four-week trial.
