Roberts Bakery Jobs Saved Through Rescue Deal
Over 400 jobs at Roberts Bakery have been saved thanks to a rescue deal with Boparan Private Office.
A pre-pack deal, made for an undisclosed fee, has seen private investment firm Boparan Private Office create a new company, Roberts Bakery 1887 Ltd.
The investment, announced on October 15, safeguards 433 jobs across two sites.
The deal comes just over a week after the fourth-generation family business filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators.
