Lawsuit Against Education Department Over Paedophile Teacher
A major lawsuit has been filed against the Department of Education, accusing it of failing to protect children from a known paedophile teacher, Rex Ryan.
Ryan, a former primary school teacher, was transferred between several Ballarat schools despite warnings from parents about his abuse, and went on to sexually abuse at least 12 young girls during his teaching career.
