A planning inspector is set to rule on long-running disputes in east London regarding the redevelopment of three sites on and around Brick Lane.
Campaigners, developers, and Tower Hamlets Council have presented their cases as the inquiry commenced. The inquiry was prompted by appeals from property owner Truman Estates and Zeloof LLP to the government's Planning Inspectorate.
The Save Brick Lane Campaign opposes the plans, stating they "fail to reflect local wants and needs" and do not provide sufficient housing.
