Arkansas Basketball Coach John Calipari Says Team Has 'a Ways to Go'
According to Whole Hog Sports by Matt Byrne, Arkansas men's basketball coach John Calipari expressed that his team still has a long way to go to meet expectations.
"I'm not going to say it was a debacle, but what would be the next word up from debacle? I got a good group, but we've got a ways to go to be what people think we're going to be."
The team, ranked No. 14 in the Associated Press preseason poll, will play additional scrimmages against Cincinnati and Memphis to prepare for a tough nonconference schedule, including a test against No. 22 Michigan State.
