East End Police Chase Ends in Shopping Centre Car Park
A man has been arrested and charged following a police chase through Glasgow's east end.
Around 6pm on Tuesday, October 14, a car on Abbeycraig Road allegedly failed to stop for police officers, leading to a short chase.
The car was stopped in The Lochs Shopping Centre car park, just off Westerhouse Road, in Easterhouse, and the driver and passenger left the vehicle and were apprehended.
- The 32-year-old male driver was arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences.
Dramatic pictures show at least five police cars and a police van on the scene, with officers searching a silver car.
