Mum-and-Daughter Team Take Over Country Pub
Jo Oakley, 52, and her daughter Charlotte Bennett, 28, have taken over The Rising Sun in Scholar Green after their sandwich shop, Jo Jo's Kitchen, shut down due to financial difficulties.
The decision to move was made after national chains became competition, but the duo has already impressed their loyal customers with their sought-after food.
