Windows 10 Extended Security Updates
Windows 10 support ends on October 14, 2025, but users can extend its lifespan with the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program.
The ESU program allows users to continue getting updates, including those with a local account, for a fee of $30.
- Users in the EU require a Microsoft account for free Windows 10 ESU.
- Users outside the EU need to sync Settings to OneDrive in addition to having a Microsoft account.
- In the US, users can also use Microsoft Rewards points (1,000) to sign up for Windows 10 ESU.
Microsoft says you can subscribe to $30 ESU, which is now live.
