A new organization, The New Energy Industrial Strategy Center, has been launched in partnership with the environmental group RMI to focus on advanced energy technologies.
The center will prioritize areas such as manufacturing, permitting, and low-emissions hydrogen in the U.S., and will also focus on the U.K., Europe, India, and Brazil.
The New Energy Industrial Strategy Center will publish policy advice, while also “working closely with the private sector”
Sarah Ladislaw, RMI managing director, will lead the effort, bringing experience from the Biden administration.
The goal is to power major areas of the global economy, including artificial intelligence computing and semiconductor production, with advanced energy technologies.
