Netherlands Urged to Invest in Railway Security
The Netherlands' railway system is vulnerable to sabotage and cyberattacks, according to a report from the Physical Environment Advisory Council (OFL).
The council recommends investing at least €600 million to strengthen security, as current policies focus mainly on operational disruptions caused by weather or technical failures.

Current policies are outdated and insufficiently prepared for deliberate attacks or cyber intrusions.
