Tropical Storm Lorenzo has formed in the central Atlantic Ocean, marking the 12th named storm of the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season.

The storm is extremely far from the United States and will not have any impact on the country. It is actually closer to the west coast of Africa.

Currently, the storm is moving northwest but is expected to turn east as it continues to move across the Atlantic Ocean. Although it may gain some strength, it is not forecasted to become stronger than a tropical storm or make landfall.

This storm will only impact the sea.
