Weeks after a children's birthday celebration in upscale Vaucluse turned chaotic, the incident has escalated into a heated public dispute involving legal threats.
The conflict centers on Danielle Plaskitt, who runs a "pony party" business in Sydney’s northwest, and D'Leanne Lewis, a well-known eastern suburbs real estate agent and television personality from the series Luxe Listings Sydney.
Lewis shared an Instagram video showing a confrontation at her daughter Lyra’s third birthday party, which quickly went viral among her 70,000 followers.
“Get away from my ponies, now!”
In the footage, Plaskitt appeared irate as Lewis carried her daughter away, prompting widespread criticism online. However, Plaskitt later explained that her outburst stemmed from guests being “obstructive and difficult,” claiming her company’s terms were ignored and her staff lacked proper parking access.
Following the viral incident and further media attention, both sides have now sought legal counsel. Reports suggest Lewis has already issued a cease-and-desist notice, marking a new stage in the escalating feud.
The altercation took place on September 28 at Kimberley Reserve in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. Lewis had arranged for My Pony Party to provide animal entertainment through a professional party planner, but the event ended in confrontation and public fallout.
