Sally Kirkland, the seasoned actress known for her Oscar-nominated role in the 1987 film Anna, has been hospitalized and is currently receiving hospice care, TMZ reports.
At 84 years old, Kirkland was diagnosed with dementia a year ago. She is now battling serious infections deemed life-threatening and has become the focus of an urgent GoFundMe campaign.
The GoFundMe states that Kirkland "had a fall in the shower, when she was left unattended; injuring her ribs, foot, along with cuts and bruises."
