An 86-year-old woman, Kim Knor, recently completed her 999th skydive and is preparing for her 1,000th jump this November. Her skydiving adventure began in 1959 when, at 18 years old, she forged her parents' signature to make her first jump.
Kim took a break from skydiving in 1967 to focus on raising her family. She resumed skydiving in 2003 and set an ambitious goal to reach 1,000 jumps.
Her milestone jump will take place in Lake Wales, Florida. Upon completion, she will earn the United States Parachute Association Gold Wings.
