"Twilight’s End," the newest collaboration between Fortiche and Riot Games, premiered during the 2025 League of Legends World Championship in Chengdu. This cinematic concludes the year’s overarching League of Legends story arc.
The narrative follows LeBlanc, Vladimir, and Xin Zhao, whose journeys have unfolded through four connected shorts: Welcome to Noxus, Dark Gambit, Beginning of the End, and Twilight’s End. The final chapter centers on the climactic battle for the mystical Darkin Glaive.
The film opens with an intense confrontation in the heart of the Spirit Temple, which manifests in Ionia during the rare “spirit blossom bloom.” Here, Xin Zhao and Yunara, the temple guardian, strive to stop Atakhan—an ally of LeBlanc—from seizing an ancient glaive containing the Darkin Zaahen.
Amid the chaos, Xin Zhao touches the artifact and is pulled into the prison realm of Zaahen. Haunted by an apocalyptic vision where LeBlanc and Atakhan destroy Demacia, he pleads with Zaahen to inhabit his body to avert the looming catastrophe.
“Fortiche explored new visual codes shaped by Ionia’s magic and mysticism.”
This marks Fortiche’s continued mastery in merging dynamic action with emotional storytelling and distinctive art design inspired by League of Legends lore.
Fortiche’s "Twilight’s End" completes Riot Games’ 2025 LoL saga with a visually rich showdown blending mythic power, emotional depth, and Ionia’s mystical atmosphere.
