Intel Core Ultra 300

Intel Core Ultra 300

Intel has stepped into the confusing naming game alongside AMD. Recently, AMD announced two new Ryzen AI MAX models: 392 and 382. However, Intel’s upcoming lineup may surpass that in complexity.

According to updated preliminary specifications, Intel is preparing new mainstream and premium laptop processors under the Panther Lake series.

The maximum boost clock for Panther Lake reaches 5.1 GHz. Despite some early leaks suggesting a higher figure, Intel appears to have set a more realistic target.

This number could still vary depending on laptop cooling and power configuration, explained tech insider Jaykihn, who revealed the full list of upcoming SKUs.

Revised Series and Naming Confusion

Earlier leaks mentioned high-end models labeled as 3_8H, but the list has since been reorganized to include 3_6H options as well. The structure of Intel’s premium lineup adds to the confusion, as naming conventions make it tricky to compare models.

This means that skipping the “Ultra” tier results in ambiguous comparisons like 386H versus 368H, which lack clear distinctions.

Flagship Core Specifications

The flagship processor in the series will feature a 5.1 GHz boost clock, combining 4 Performance cores (P-Cores), 8 Efficiency cores (E-Cores), and 4 Low-Power cores (LP-Cores). Both X9 and X7 variants will include integrated Arc B390 graphics with a complete 12 Xe3 unit setup.
