In the second half, Hapoel took control and dominated the game. They scored 35 points in the third quarter, turning the match decisively in their favor. Their success came from an aggressive defense that quickly turned steals into easy points.
The match was played in Sarajevo’s Zetra arena behind closed doors following a decision by the Sarajevo Canton Police. With this victory, Hapoel tied for first place with Belgrade’s Red Star, each holding a record of seven wins and two losses.
Hapoel Tel Aviv’s strong defense and high-tempo offense secured a decisive comeback win over injury-depleted Dubai in an empty Sarajevo arena.
