Steve Witkoff, the US special presidential envoy for peace missions, acknowledged ongoing efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, stating that while progress is visible, significant challenges remain.
Speaking at a business forum in Miami, Florida, Witkoff said,
“I sense that there's some break, there's some progress today, but I think it's a tough conflict.”
He emphasized the importance of continuing work on security protocols for Ukraine, noting the necessity of detailed discussions among technical teams to prepare for higher-level negotiations.
Despite an indefinite delay of the high-level meeting, diplomatic efforts continue with careful work on security arrangements critical to resolving the Ukraine conflict.
Though the Ukraine crisis remains complex, ongoing dialogue and technical coordination indicate cautious but meaningful progress toward a resolution.
