Patti Smith Performs on The Late Show

Patti Smith recently appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she reflected on her legendary 1975 album Horses, discussed her new memoir Bread of Angels, and shared stories from her early life.

On Thursday night, Smith performed “Peaceable Kingdom” from her 2004 album Trampin’ with Tony Shanahan accompanying on stage.

This appearance came just before Smith begins her North American tour marking the 50th anniversary of Horses. In 2022, Consequence ranked the album as the 17th greatest of all time.
