The Celebrity Traitors has concluded with Alan Carr emerging as the winner, despite his nerves and trademark loud personality. Yet one lingering question remained after the finale — how are Alan and singer Paloma Faith, whom he “betrayed” early in the series, getting along?
During the companion show Uncloaked, host Ed Gamble confronted Alan directly about his friendship with Paloma.
"Now with the nation watching, do you think it's time for an apology? I mean, Paloma's sat right there,"
Alan, visibly uncomfortable but still playful, responded with humor.
"I am so sorry. You know I am, and I want to tell everyone that I'm the father of a child. We had a make-up hug, one thing led to another."
Paloma, currently expecting her fourth child, shared a heartfelt reflection on the experience.
"Observing tonight and going through my whole plethora of hormonal emotions, I feel like the reason why Alan won, and the reason why I was so sad, was because we all love him so much. And I love you so much and I'm so happy that you won because it was bloody worth it then."
She added that while many may not have voted for Alan out of affection, his charm ultimately secured his victory.
"You won it, you hurt me and I loved you, but..."
Alan couldn’t resist one final quip, referencing one of Paloma’s own songs:
"Only love can hurt like that."
Paloma Faith and Alan Carr publicly addressed their onscreen “betrayal” with humor and affection, proving that their friendship remains intact beyond The Celebrity Traitors finale.
