Senior Liberal Senator Sarah Henderson has voiced doubts about Sussan Ley's leadership amid growing internal debate over net zero policies within the Coalition.

Speaking to Sky News Australia host Peter Stefanovic on Friday, Senator Henderson, an opponent of the net zero policy, expressed concerns about Ms Ley’s leadership strength.
"I cannot support the way things are. We've had a dire Newspoll result, a primary vote of just 24 per cent. Things are not traveling well," Senator Henderson said.
"I do have to say, really honestly, I do think Sussan is losing support, but I do believe in miracles, we can turn things around."
Senator Henderson emphasized her dissatisfaction with the current situation in the party and doubts Ms Ley's ability to maintain leadership if conditions do not improve.
Senator Sarah Henderson’s remarks reveal growing internal party challenges and uncertainty over Sussan Ley’s leadership as the Liberal Party prepares for a crucial decision on net zero policy.
