In a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian expressed discomfort over fans attempting to take “sneaky photos” of her and Travis Barker. The incident occurred during a visit to Café du Monde in New Orleans, where the scene was busy with tourists, locals, and production cameras.
Kourtney noticed people pointing their phones at her while she was trying to eat. She quietly asked Travis Barker, “Should we ask these people to stop so I can take a bite?” She explained that someone outside was “zooming in” on her as she tried to enjoy a beignet and hot chocolate.
“Can I just eat a beignet, get powdered sugar all over my face, and drink my hot chocolate?”
Travis reminded her with a laugh that they were already being filmed by big cameras for the show.
“Babe, you’re in here with big cameras.”
Kourtney emphasized that her concern isn’t about taking pictures with fans.
“I love saying hi to people. It’s not about that.”
Her main issue was the expectation that public figures must always be available for photos, even when they are not engaging with anyone directly.
Kourtney Kardashian highlighted the challenge of maintaining privacy in public spaces where fans sometimes take photos without permission, despite her willingness to interact with fans under the right circumstances.
