Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux announced on Thursday his resignation as the Member of Parliament for Edmonton Riverbend. Contrary to earlier rumours, he will not be joining the Liberal Party.
On Wednesday, there were speculations that Jeneroux might follow former colleague Chris d’Entremont in switching from the Conservative party to the Liberals. These rumours, however, proved unfounded.
