Gothic Church in Cornwall Could Become Luxury Flats
A Gothic church in Cornwall, which has been in a state of decay, may be transformed into nine apartments if a new planning application is approved.
The Flexbury Park United Methodist Church, located in Bude, was opened in 1905 but closed in 2008 due to structural problems.
Developers say the church is in danger of demolition or collapse due to decay.
- The planning application is among several recently submitted to Cornwall Council.
- Other proposals include housing developments and the relocation of a historic beach-side water fountain.
No dates have been set for the determination of these planning applications, which can be viewed on Cornwall Council's website.
